The power of our community
Important program news: In November, the current electricity supply contract for Nantucket PowerChoice will expire and a new contract will begin, providing stable pricing through October 2027.
Electricity supply prices have increased since the Town secured its current contract in 2024. As a result, Nantucket PowerChoice prices will increase when the new contract takes effect. However, most participants will continue to save compared with National Grid’s residential Basic Service price. Since its 2017 launch, Nantucket PowerChoice has saved island residents and businesses more than $35.2 million compared with National Grid’s prices, though future savings cannot be guaranteed.
Check back soon for the official announcement from the Town of Nantucket.
