Options & Pricing

Your options are as follows. National Grid Basic Service prices are available below for comparison.

  • If you want the lowest-priced program offering and you do not want any additional renewable energy, choose Power Forward Standard, which is the default program offering.

All new program participants are automatically enrolled in Power Forward Standard.

  • If you want to receive 100% of your electricity from clean, renewable sources like the sun and the wind, instead of from burning fossil fuels like coal, gas, and oil, choose Power Forward Green.

Power Forward Green is available by request.

Electricity supplier: If you participate in Foxborough Power Forward, you will see Direct Energy listed on your National Grid electricity bill as your electricity supplier. See an example National Grid bill.

Electricity mix: The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that all electricity supply products include a minimum of 62% from renewable energy resources in 2024. All Foxborough Power Forward offerings meet the minimum requirement. However, Power Forward Green exceeds this requirement. Visit the Resources page to download the most recent electricity generation disclosure label.

Please note:

  • Prices for Power Forward Standard and Power Forward Green include a $0.001/kWh administration fee. Program prices could increase as a result of a change in law that results in a direct, material increase in costs during the term of the electricity supply agreement. Program prices apply only to the electricity Supply portion of your National Grid electricity bill. Delivery charges on your National Grid electricity bill are not affected by the Foxborough Power Forward program.
  • Power Forward Green includes the minimum amount of MA Class I RECs required by law each year plus the additional amount needed to reach 100%. Foxborough’s electricity supplier must also purchase other renewable energy to meet state requirements. As a result, the total renewable content for Power Forward Green exceeds 100%.
  • Some large commercial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing. Visit the FAQ page for more information.
