Example Eversource bill

This page helps you to find Lexington’s Community Choice Program on your bill. Check out the calculator to compare the cost of participating in Lexington’s Community Choice Program vs. Eversource’s average Basic Service price.

As a participant in Lexington’s Community Choice Program, you will see two changes on your Eversource electric bill:

  1. Lexington’s electricity supplier will be listed on your bill as your electricity supplier.
  2. Eversource will use a Lexington price to calculate the Supply charges on your electric bill instead of their Basic Service price.

Lexington’s Community Choice Program will impact only the Supply charges on your Eversource electric bill. Eversource’s Delivery charges are not impacted by your participation in Lexington’s Community Choice Program.

Here’s what to look for:

If you are enrolled in Lexington’s Community Choice Program, the first page of your bill will identify your electricity supplier as First Point Power and provide their contact information.

Page 2 of your bill:

On the second page of your bill, a Lexington price will be used to calculate the Supply charges on your bill.

Look below the Supplier header and find the row labeled Generation Srvc Chrg.

Look to the right to the math problem in parentheses. This is the calculation for your electricity Supply charges.

  • The first number is the amount of electricity you used in the previous billing cycle.
  • The second number is your electricity supply price. That price will reflect which program option you are enrolled in. (Learn more about program prices.)
