Program prices

Ludlow Power Choice offers three options. As a new participant, you will be automatically enrolled in Ludlow Basic, which offers the lowest price in the program.

The Ludlow Greener option is available by request and provides 80% of your electricity from renewable sources.
The Ludlow 100% Green option is also available by request and provides 100% of your electricity from renewable sources.

All Ludlow Power Choice prices are fixed from August 2025 to November 2027.

As a participant in Ludlow Power Choice, your electricity supplier will be First Point Power.

What happens in November 2027?

The Town intends to sign a new, long-term contract when the contract with First Point Power expires. The Town will announce the new prices before they take effect, and your account will be automatically enrolled into the new price for your program option unless you opt out or choose a different option.

Please note: Some large commercial accounts may not be eligible for program pricing at the time of enrollment and may instead be offered market pricing.

Compare to Eversource

Ludlow Power Choice offers long-term prices, but Eversource’s prices change seasonally. It is normal for Ludlow’s prices to be lower than Eversource sometimes and higher at other times. The goal of Ludlow Power Choice is to provide savings when compared with the average of Eversource’s changing prices.
