Ludlow Power Choice will provide three new choices for the electricity supply part of your bill. You will automatically receive the lowest-priced option in the program, but you can choose to pay a bit more to receive 80% or 100% of your electricity from renewable sources like the sun and the wind. Stable and consistent prices 

Ludlow Power Choice will offer long-term prices for the electricity supply part of your bill that are fixed until November 2027. In comparison, Eversource’s prices change seasonally, every 6 months or less. Participating in Ludlow Power Choice will make your electricity supply price predictable and stable and will protect you from seasonal price spikes.

 

Potential for savings

Ludlow Power Choice provides savings compared with Eversource through January 31, 2026, and it offers the potential for savings in the future. According to a report by UMass Amherst, the majority of communities with aggregation programs do see some savings compared with Eversource’s prices. However, Ludlow Power Choice prices are long-term fixed prices, while Eversource’s prices change every 6 months or less. Chief among them, the program has no hidden fees, and you have the freedom to opt out of, or leave, the program at any time with no fee or penalty.
