Use the calculator below to compare your electricity supply costs (the cost of the actual electricity) to National Grid’s Basic Service costs and to quantify the greenhouse gas benefits of participating in Pepperell Community Electricity.

Please note: Your electricity delivery costs (the cost to bring electricity to your home or business) will not be impacted by your participation in Pepperell Community Electricity.

To use the calculator, find your monthly electricity use (in kWh) on your National Grid electric bill and enter it into the box below.

Compare to National Grid's Basic Service price

National Grid’s most recent 12-month average prices: While the program offers a long-term fixed price, National Grid’s Basic Service prices change every 6 months or less. As a result, comparing the program price with the most recent 12-month average of National Grid’s prices can provide a more accurate comparison than comparing with only National Grid’s current price.

Savings cannot be guaranteed

Please note that, while Pepperell Community Electricity offers the potential for savings when compared with National Grid’s Basic Service price, there is no guarantee of savings. This is because National Grid’s prices change every 6 months for residential and commercial customers and every 3 months for industrial customers, and future National Grid prices are unknown.
