Program prices

Sharon Power Choice offers three options. As a new program participant, you will be automatically enrolled in Sharon Power Choice Standard and will receive 50% of your electricity from new regional renewable sources. Two other options are available by request.

Your electricity supplier will be Direct Energy, changing to First Point Power in January 2027. See how the program will appear on your electric bill: Eversource / National Grid.

If you are eligible for a low-income discount or fuel assistance, you will continue to receive that benefit with no change.

If you are enrolled in Eversource’s Budget Billing or National Grid’s Budget Plan, it will continue to apply to your total bill.

Sharon Power Choice offers long-term prices, but Eversource’s and National Grid’s prices change seasonally. It is normal for Sharon’s prices to be lower than your utility sometimes and higher at other times. The goal of Sharon Power Choice is to provide savings when compared with the average of the utilities’ changing prices.
