Sharon Power Choice offers long-term electricity supply prices. In January 2027, new prices will go into effect that will be fixed until January 2030. In comparison, Eversource’s and National Grid’s electricity supply prices change every 6 months or less, which exposes you to seasonal spikes in electricity prices. Potential for savings

Through Sharon Power Choice, your electricity supply price may be lower than your utility’s electricity supply price. According to a report by UMass Amherst, the majority of communities with aggregation programs do see some savings compared with their utility’s electricity supply price. However, Sharon Power Choice prices are long-term fixed prices, and utility prices change every 6 months or less. As a result, future savings compared with Eversource or National Grid can never be guaranteed.

 

Consumer protections

Sharon Power Choice has been designed with consumer protections. Chief among them, the program has no hidden fees, and you have the freedom to opt out of, or leave, the program at any time with no fee or penalty.
