Foxborough Power Forward is an electricity aggregation program, which is a type of group electricity buying program, from the Town of Foxborough for residents and businesses.

Through Foxborough Power Forward, electricity customers in Foxborough receive long-term, stable electricity supply prices, consumer protections, and the potential for savings compared with National Grid’s Basic Service (though savings cannot be guaranteed).

New electricity accounts in Foxborough will be eligible for automatic enrollment within a few months of being opened and will receive a letter in the mail from the Town prior to enrollment.

Two consumer-friendly electricity options

New participants in Foxborough Power Forward will be automatically enrolled in Power Forward Standard for 16.74 ¢/kWh.
Power Forward Green is available by request and provides 100% of your electricity from renewable sources for 19.74 ¢/kWh.
Both options offer transparent pricing, no hidden fees, and the ability to leave the program at any time. Prices are fixed through November 2024.

Participate

 New electricity accounts in Foxborough will be automatically enrolled in Foxborough Power Forward on a periodic basis and after receiving a notification letter from the Town. You may also choose to enroll online or with a phone call. Learn more about enrolling.

 Use the online calculator to compare program prices with the most recent 12-month average of National Grid’s Basic Service prices. You can also use the calculator to see the environmental impact of opting up to the Power Forward Green option and receiving 100% renewable electricity. How it works

 A municipal electricity aggregation is a group electricity purchasing program. Participating in Foxborough Power Forward will change your electricity supplier and the price National Grid uses to calculate the Supply Services portion of your electricity bill, but participating will not replace National Grid as your electric utility. Savings cannot be guaranteed

Please note, that while Foxborough Power Forward offers the potential for savings when compared with National Grid’s Basic Service prices, there is no guarantee of savings. This is because National Grid’s prices change every 6 months for residential and small business customers and every 3 months for large business customers, and future National Grid prices are unknown.
