Example National Grid bill
|This page helps you to find Sutton Power Choice on your bill. Check out the calculator to compare the cost of participating in Sutton Power Choice vs. National Grid’s Basic Service.
As a participant in Sutton Power Choice, you will see two changes on your National Grid electric bill:
- Sutton’s electricity supplier will be listed on your bill as your electricity supplier.
- National Grid will use a Sutton Power Choice price to calculate the Supply Services portion of your electric bill instead of their Basic Service price.
Sutton Power Choice will impact only the Supply Services portion of your National Grid electric bill. National Grid’s Delivery Charges are not impacted by your participation in Sutton Power Choice.
Here’s what to look for:
Delivery Services appear on the first page of your bill as a list of charges. Delivery Services charges are not impacted by your participation in Sutton Power Choice. These charges are regulated.
To find Sutton Power Choice on your bill, move past the Delivery Services charges and look for the Supply Services charge.
The second part of your bill is Supply Services, which typically appears on the bottom of the first page or at the top of the second page of your bill. Supply Services charges are impacted by your participation in Sutton Power Choice.
If you are enrolled in Sutton Power Choice, the Supply Services portion of your bill will identify Constellation NewEnergy as your electricity supplier and will provide their contact information.
CONSTELLATION NEW ENERGY (SUTTON AGG)
1310 POINTE ST
BALTIMORE, MD 21231
In addition, the price that is used to calculate your Supply Services charge will be a Sutton Power Choice price. To find it, look below the supplier information and find the row labeled Electricity Supply.
Look to the right to the math problem in parentheses. This is the calculation for your electricity Supply Services charge.
- The first number is your electricity supply price. That price will reflect which Sutton Power Choice option you are enrolled in. (Learn more about program prices.)
- The second number is the amount of electricity you used in the previous billing cycle.
