Opt Out

You may choose not to participate in the program. This is called opting out. There is no penalty for opting out, and you may opt out at any time. If you choose to opt out, you will be switched back to Eversource Basic Service for your electricity supply.

If you opt out and then wish to opt back in to the program, you may do so, but you are not guaranteed the program price. You may instead receive a market price for the duration of the current electricity supply contract.

Be sure to use the name on the account and the account service address when completing the form.

Your name key is listed on your National Grid bill, but it is not labelled. To find it, 1) look in the blue left column of your bill, 2) locate the Enrollment Information section, and 3) find the word "Cycle." Your name key is listed after your cycle number in capital letters. Your name key is typically the first 4 letters of the last name on a residential account, or the first 4 letters of a commercial account name.

Your name key can be found on the second page of your Eversource bill, directly beneath your account number. Your name key is typically the first 4 letters of the last name on a residential account, or the first 4 letters of a commercial account name.

Medium and large commercial or industrial customers interested in enrolling should contact customer support to verify account eligibility.
