Approved Aggregation Documents |
To implement Weston Power Choice, the Town had to develop an Aggregation Plan and submit it, along with supporting documents, to a state regulatory approval process. Weston’s Aggregation Plan was approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities on 12/27/23. The approved documents are as follows:

Electricity Supply Contract |
The Town of Weston signed a 30-month electricity supply contract with First Point Power. The contract is in effect from June 2024 – December 2026 meter reads. Download the contract. (PDF) |
How Aggregation Works |
Municipal electricity aggregation is a form of group electricity purchasing. Electricity aggregation replaces your electricity supplier, and it changes the price that Eversource uses to calculate the Supply charge on your electric bill. In addition, aggregation can increase the amount of renewable energy in your electricity supply. But electricity aggregation does not replace Eversource as your electric utility.
