Program prices

Valley Green Energy offers two options:

  • As a new participant, you will be automatically enrolled in VGE Basic, the least-expensive option in the program.
  • The VGE 100% Green option provides 100% of your electricity from renewable sources and is available by request.

All Valley Green Energy prices are fixed until November 2026. 

As a participant in Valley Green Energy, your electricity supplier will be First Point Power.

VGE Standard Green has been retired and is no longer open to new enrollments. All participants in VGE Standard Green will be automatically transferred to VGE Basic as of May 2026.

 

Compare to your utility’s prices

Valley Green Energy offers long-term prices, but utility prices change seasonally. It is normal for Valley Green Energy prices to be lower than your utility’s price sometimes and higher at other times. The goal of Valley Green Energy is to provide some savings when compared with the average of your utility’s changing prices.
