Opt Out

You may choose not to participate in the program. This is called opting out. There is no penalty for opting out, and you may opt out at any time. If you choose to opt out, you will be switched back to National Grid Basic Service for your electricity supply.

If you opt out and then wish to opt back into the program during the same electricity supply contract, you are not guaranteed the program price. The electricity supplier has the right to charge a market price for the duration of the contract for any account that opts out and opts back in.

Please include the information as it appears on your National Grid electricity bill.
Be sure to use the name on the account as it appears on the National Grid bill and the account service address (not the billing address) when completing the form.

To find it, 1) look in the blue left column of your bill, 2) locate the Enrollment Information section, and 3) find the word "Cycle." Your name key is listed after your cycle number in capital letters.
