Your options

Lexington’s Community Choice Program offers three options:

  1. 100% Green: Provides electricity that is 100% from a mix of renewable sources both within and outside of New England. New program participants will be automatically enrolled in 100% Green.
  2. New England Green: Provides electricity that is 100% from new renewable sources in the New England region (100% MA Class I RECs).
  3. Basic: Provides the minimum renewable energy required by law.

Electricity supplier: First Point Power is Lexington’s electricity supplier through December 2026.

Why opt up to New England Green? Because buying local matters, even when it comes to electricity. When you opt up to the New England Green option, you’re buying all of your electricity from renewable energy projects in the New England region, which helps to create market demand for more of those projects on our local power grid and supports the local jobs that go with them.

Eversource’s fixed Basic Service rates change seasonally.
