Opt Out

You may opt out of the program by completing the form below.

Please include the information requested as it appears on your Eversource electricity bill. Be sure to use the name on the account and the account service address when completing the form.

It may take up to two billing cycles for the change to appear on your bill, as changes can only be made at the start of a billing cycle.

Important note: If you opt out and then wish to re-enroll at a later date, you may not receive the program price at the time you re-enroll. Instead, the program’s electricity supplier is entitled to charge a market price instead of the program price. A market price may be higher than the program price.

If you are a National Grid customer your electricity account number number has 10 digits.
If you are an Eversource customer your electricity account number number has 11 digits.
Your name key is listed on your National Grid bill, but it is not labelled. To find it, 1) look in the blue left column of your bill, 2) locate the Enrollment Information section, and 3) find the word "Cycle." Your name key is listed after your cycle number in capital letters. Your name key is typically the first 4 letters of the last name on a residential account, or the first 4 letters of a commercial account name.
Your name key can be found on the second page of your Eversource bill, directly beneath your account number. Your name key is typically the first 4 letters of the last name on a residential account, or the first 4 letters of a commercial account name.
