Opt out

You may choose not to participate in the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program. This is called opting out. There is no fee or penalty for opting out, and you may opt out at any time.

If you opt out and then wish to re-enroll in the program, you may do so, but you are not guaranteed the program price. You may instead receive a higher market price for the duration of the current electricity supply contract. If the program’s electricity supplier decides to charge market pricing, you will be notified before enrollment and can decide then whether to continue with enrollment or not.

There are three easy ways to opt out of the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program:

Mail: If you received a notice with a reply card in the mail, simply sign the reply card, place it in the pre-paid envelope, and put it in the mail, or…

Call: Call customer support with Worcester’s program consultants at 833-926-1207 and tell them you want to opt out of the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program, or…

Online: Opt out online using the form below. When completing the form, be sure to use the name on the account and the account service address as they appear on the bill.

To find it, 1) look in the blue left column of your bill, 2) locate the Enrollment Information section, and 3) find the word "Cycle." Your name key is listed after your cycle number in capital letters.
