Program prices

Important program news

Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program prices are falling for the second time in less than a year.

To help Worcester residents and businesses manage electricity costs, the City of Worcester has changed the source of the additional renewable electricity that is purchased through the program. The result is lower prices for all participants.

No action is required for current program participants to receive the new, lower prices. The new prices take effect with September meter reads, and you will see the new price on your October National Grid bill.

Check back soon for the official announcement from the City of Worcester.

The Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program offers three options for your electricity supply. All three options provide more of your electricity supply from renewable sources than is required by state law.

If you are eligible for a low-income discount or fuel assistance, you continue to receive that benefit with no change as a participant in the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program.
