Example National Grid bill 

The Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program will be integrated into your existing National Grid electric bill.

  • Your Supply Services charge will be impacted by the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program. Electricity Supply is the section of the bill where you pay for the electricity you use. National Grid makes no profit from the Supply Services section of your bill.
  • Your Delivery Services charges will not be impacted by the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program. Delivery Services is the section of the bill where you pay National Grid to deliver your electricity and maintain the poles and wires. National Grid makes their profit from the Delivery Services section of your bill.

You will not receive any additional electric bills because of participating in the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program. 

If you do not already see an “Other Supplier Services” column on the first page of your bill, it will appear once your account is enrolled in the program, but this is not an additional charge. Learn more

Where to look on your bill:

Look for the Supply Services section at the top of the second or third page.

  • The Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program will appear as your electricity supplier. Look for Green Worc ElectriCITY Aggregation Prog.
  • National Grid will use a Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program price as your Electricity Supply price. If the phrase “Basic Service Fixed” appears on your bill, it will change to “Electricity Supply” when your account is enrolled in the program.

Through your September 2026 bill

Other changes on your bill

When you are enrolled in the Green Worcester ElectriCITY Municipal Aggregation Program or with a private electricity supplier, you will see one additional change on your bill: Your electricity supply charge will appear under an Other Supplier Service column on the first page of your bill. This is not an additional charge. This charge was previously integrated into National Grid Services when National Grid was your supplier.
